Tubby%u2019s Policies

Hours of Operation:
May 1 to September 15 %u2013 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
September 16 to April 30 %u2013 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Early deliveries or late pickups outside the hours of operation may be arranged, but may be subject to additional charges. Check to confirm.

All locations for equipment must be clean and free of debris prior to delivery. This includes waste from animals, rocks, glass, garbage, etc.

Any time required by delivery staff to wait for the area to be cleaned may result in a cancelled delivery without refund of deposit or return of payment, or additional charges for waiting may be applied.

Access for delivery must be ready. Any waiting for access may result in cancellation of delivery without refund of deposit or return of payment, or additional charges for waiting may be applied.

All locations must have access in excess of 36%u201D / 90 cm wide or greater based on the equipment that you order.

Some equipment also requires overhead access in excess of 84%u201D / 210 cm or higher based on the equipment that you order.

All deliveries are based on a ground level location that is easily accessible.

If your location is not ground level or is not easily accessible, arrangements must be made in advance for this type of delivery. An additional charge may apply. Failure to ensure this type of delivery has been arranged may result in the cancellation of your delivery without return of deposit or return of payment.

Delivery/ order minimums:Orders less than the Minimum amount may be subject to a delivery charge.
Private residence $250.00, Stampede $500.00
Group, Corporate, Public $500.00, Stampede $750.00.

Bookings less than the minimum order amount may be be subject to a delivery /pickup charge.
Some bookings may have delivery charges added, even if the order amount exceeds the Order Minimum.
Possibly due to delivery location, type of equipment ordered, Delivery, Pick up times, etc.
Call / email for details.

Bookings outside the City of Calgary (Tubby's Delivery Area),Maybe be subject to delivery charges in addition to the order, even if the order exceeds the minimum Order value.

Contact the office to obtain Delivery charges to your location,or
simple submit your order through the check out process in the form of a quote and request delivery information.

Delivery Information
You will be provided with a delivery window of 2 hours. This will be in advance of your event, allowing adequate time for equipment to be set up. You must ensure that you are ready for delivery.

Your pickup window will be a 2 hour period after the scheduled end of your event.

The above noted applies, unless other arrangements have been made.

If you require a dedicated time for either pickup or delivery, please let us know and we may be able to schedule you a more convenient time. There may be additional charges for this service.

The customer is responsible for the safety and security of the equipment from the time of drop-off until the equipment is returned or picked up by Tubby%u2019s.

In addition, the customer is responsible for the following:

The person who is in charge of the event and the person(s) supervising equipment must be present during the time of the delivery. Instructions and rules will be provided at this time to show how to operate all equipment properly.

Equipment such as games, electronics and many other items cannot be exposed to moisture ( i.e., rain, hail, snow).

Keep guests away from equipment until the setup, including instructions and rules, has been completed.

It is up to the customer to ensure that proper power is supplied for all equipment requiring power. .

All inflatable units require a 15-amp breaker, and a dedicated circuit is required! This must be determined ahead of our arrival, and your setup plan must be completed accordingly.

Some items require a 20 amp circuit, these items will be identified to you.
Cord Covers maybe required at your location, due to pedistrian traffic or vehicle traffic. Please identify if there is traffic at your location. WE will not allow our cords to be driven over, and cords to our equipment must be of certain minimum gauge. Cord Covers are available for booking.

Customers may provide extensions cords provided they are in good working order and that they are either a 10- or 12-gauge cord.

50%u2019 extension cords will be provided at no cost for all inflatables upon request at time of booking!

100%u2019 extension cords will be provided at a cost $12.00 each.

Water must be provided for any equipment that requires it (i.e., Dunk Tanks, Waterslides, Hot Tubs, BalloonBurst). The water used must be potable.

Non-grass surfaces for inflatables may require tarps/ground sheets and sandbags. Additional charges may apply. The customer needs to confirm this at time of booking.

All Inflatables Need to Secured / Anchored To The Ground

For locations where an inflatable is going to be anchored to the ground using stakes, the customer is responsible for ensuring that underground utilities have been located by professionals beforehand.

For locations where an inflatable will be secured by Dead weight ( Sand Bags ) there maybe additional charges for sand bags.

For surfaces other than grass, additional charges may apply for tarps to protect our equipment.


For deliveries with loading docks, stairs and/or elevators, customers must confirm:

Loading dock location and size of loading dock.

Freight elevator must be over 7 feet in length (back to front) or additional costs may be levied for large items (i.e., Top Shot, Mini Golf).

Both freight elevator and loading dock must be booked for the time of delivery and pickup, including the stated length of time by Tubby%u2019s required for pickup or delivery.

Deliveries to more than one floor may result in additional charges.

Deliveries/pickups are scheduled in a 2 hour window. If you require a dedicated time, that may be arranged. An additional charge may apply. Check to confirm.

Parking for vehicle in loading dock for duration of delivery/pickup.

Any equipment that includes setup and delivery is for within Calgary city limits and does not including any of the following:

Downtown deliveries.

Buildings with deliveries to an above / below ground-level location this includes residential locations with changes of elevation. i.e. walkouts. Contact Tubby's for details.

Buildings with stairs or difficult access.

Deliveries to locations that do not have an outside door that can be accessed by our delivery vehicles, and directly into the room for the event.

Deliveries with more than one room for setup.

Sloped areas, rocky paths, or small gates or doors that are not big enough for the equipment rented.

Deliveries to residential backyards that do not have a rear back gate may be subject to an additional fee.

Deliveries to locations with Staris,Narrow Access Points and or other challenges that create / cause challenges for the delivery crew, may have additional fees charged. These fees may be identified & Levied at time of delivery if restricted access was not identified and agreed to prior to delivery. These issues include pick up and any changes prior to the event.

Return of Rental Items

All items must be returned in the manner that they were delivered. Specific instructions as to what is required of you will be given to you on delivery.

Any cleaning required outside of regular amounts will result in cleaning charges. These charges will be applied solely at Tubby%u2019s discretion. Deposits may be held for these charges.

Any damages are the responsibility of the customer, including damage caused by your guests or strangers. A deposit may be held for these charges.
Be advised that any use of the equipment for which it is not intended is strictly prohibited.

Customers must ensure that %u201CSilly String%u201D is not used anywhere near an inflatable and that none lands on, or touches this equipment.

Tubby%u2019s Inflatable Policy

All Inflatable%u2019s must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

For locations where an inflatable is going to be anchored via stakes to the ground, the customer is responsible for ensuring underground utilities have been located by professionals beforehand.

Rain Policy for Inflatables

In cases of heavy rain, snow, high winds or low temperatures (lower than 5 Celsius), we will not set up any inflatables and certain types of other equipment. If you have scheduled an outdoor event, please make sure that you have a backup plan for your party.

Once the equipment has been set up, there will be no refunds issued and .payment becomes due. If it rains, snows or there are high winds during the rental period, you will agree to turn off and unplug and cover the blower unit. If the rain stops, you may start it up again and dry off the bouncer surface and make sure the cover is off the blower unit before you start to use it.

Cancellation Policy:

For any booking that a payment / deposit has been made / required,in the event of cancellation,provided the terms and conditions are meet, that payment will be refunded, UNLESS
the cancellation is made within the NON REFUNDABLE, NON RETURNABLE terms and conditions, A credit may be issued that may be used towards other services and / or another date, provided that date and / or equipment is available.
The NON-REFUNDED deposit/payment,credit must be used within 60 days from the date of cancellation unless an extension is agreed to by Tubby%u2019s.

Bookings with a single piece of equipment become a secured booking Fourteen (14) days prior to the event. The deposit / payment becomes NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-RETURNABLE fourteen (14) daysPRIOR to the event. The only exception to this, is cancellation due to weather, solely at Tubby%u2019s discretion.
If the equipment is not placed due to cancellation caused by weather conditions, the deposit will be refunded.

Bookings with multiple pieces of equipment become a secured booking once the invoice has been issued.

From that time, the deposit / payment becomes due and is NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-RETURNABLE.

Unless cancelation is given more than 60 days prior to the event,in which case the deposit / payment will be refunded.

Cancellation of an order less than sixty (60) days to thirty (30 ) days, prior to the event will result in a credit being issued, for the amount of the deposit paid, valid for 60 days from notice of event cancellation.

Any changes,deletions made to the order less than thirty (30) days prior to the event, are solely at the discretion of Tubby's in regard to a credit being issued.

Cancellations made three business (3) days or less) prior to the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, with no credit issued.

Any Items deleted from an order made with three business ( 3 ) days or less of notice will result in forfeiting the portion of any depost paid or required being lost. i.e. a $2000.00 order has a deposit requirement of $1000.00. Two ( 2 ) days prior to the event the $200.00 worth of items are cancelled/ deleted from the order $100.00 of the deposit would be forfeited and not eligable for for payment towards the out standing balance.this will take into account any discount that may have been included.
The NON-REFUNDABLE deposit/payment, credit may be transferred for use for another date, provided that date is available.
The NON-REFUNDED deposit/payment, credit must be used within 60 days unless an extension is agreed to by Tubby%u2019s.
No weather-related exceptions. with multiple items booked, if the event is cancelled due to weather, the deposit / Payment is NON-Refundable.

Any booking made within these time frames immediately becomes a secured booking and is subject to the same terms and conditions.

Care & Control of Equipment;

Customers or their agent are responsible for care, access, use & control of the equipment at all times.
Fuel Surcharge; May be applied, it will be noted on the invoice, if applicable.

5% fuel surcharge based on the pre-tax total of the invoice when gas prices are between $1.00 per litre - $1.10 per litre.

6% fuel surcharge based on the pre-tax total of the invoice when gas prices are between $1.11 per litre - $1.1.4 per litre.

7% fuel surcharge based on the pre-tax total of the invoice when gas prices are between $1.15 per litre - $1.20 per litre.

8% fuel surcharge based on the pre-tax total of the invoice when gas is over $1.20 litre.


This surcharge is in addition to any delivery charge that may apply.
